Geoffrey joined the World Travel & Tourism Council as Executive Director in 2011. He is a career marketer, starting with Procter & Gamble straight after university, and spending the next nine years in consumer goods marketing before joining Avis to run worldwide marketing in its international division. He then spent fourteen years as Corporate Vice President of marketing for Hilton International, helping to restore the brand to global prominence – finally working on the alliance that re-united the U.S. and international Hilton brands. He has also worked extensively in technology in both the entertainment and travel industries. He is a graduate of Oxford University.
